Dearest husband,
Exercising is my vice.
in a good way of course.
It's addicting but at the same time it totally sucks. It's a nasty cycle.
I guess It's like hiking a mountain.
You start off totally pumped and ready to go. For the first mile or so your going strong and loving it. Then you kinda start to get cranky and tired and all in all eventually end up wanting to just stop and give up. But! you finish! And you feel tired and weak, but very pleased with yourself. And then a few weeks go by and you start to reminisce about the trip and you remember how fun it really was and how you want to do it again.
See where I'm going with this??
It's a cycle I battle everyday. I love the before/after feeling of the long runs and challenging strength training.
but I hate the process?
Maybe if I had a workout buddy :cough:YOU:cough: It would become more enjoyable.
eh eh?? yes? no? maybe?
I need a running buddy at least!

Run run as fast as you can
Dear hubsters,
Meet my new love.
{No it's not Paul}
Running.
Running and I have a hot/cold love/hate thing going on.
Our relationship will be going strong one week and then totally go MIA the next!
What gives?
Well.. I figured out the problem in our relationship.
It's me.
Whew.
That was hard for me to say.
No. But seriously- I love to run! I've always loved to run. I figured out that my problem was that I was thinking to much about it.
How long should I run? What time and when? Will I be to busy? etc etc
Now, I just pick up and run- no planning, no timing just running till my legs give in. It feels good- I love the feeling after a long run. Hopefully, running and I can continue to work out our differences and just go with the flow.

Shimmy
Dear husband,
The other day I had some time to kill before my work-out. So naturally i turned on the tube and found myself watching a cooking show {of course!} on the FitTv network. During a commercial break i saw a preview for a belly dancing exercise program called Shimmy. So I decided
to tivo it and try later that evening.
Annnnd I'm in LOVE!
Not only is it a great ab, thigh, arm and butt toner but it's very sensual and sultry. Annnd I basically know my way around most of the dance move due to my Tahitian/hula dancing background.
So... this is a keeper. And I'm excited to connect with my exotic gypsy alter persona!
